The first phase of the evaluation: students' expectations

This first questioning on the expectations and attitudes of the students concerning the introduction of the multimedia tools, has as aim the situation of the particular contexts of each partner institution, before using these tools, following then an evaluation depending on each local reality.

Within the phases will follow, we will be capable to determine the differences in appreciation of the tools, depending on the different attitudes and expectations, specific to each country. We will be also able to determine the potential influences on the appreciation of the didactic tools, determined by:

  • perception and expectation from the teacher;
  • infrastructure development;
  • sociocultural level;
  • type of proposed module;
  • different factors that could prove to be pertinent, along the expressed expectations and attitudes within the present questioning (concerning the studies and tools).

We will be able to correlate the dynamics of the didactic tools usage, versus the types of particular expectations and attitudes expressed within this first questioning.

This aspect of the study will be then multi faced, by using qualitative methods, individual interviews respectively, in order to determine more precisely the dynamics of multimedia tools usage.

Following, the synthesis will show, country by country, the main tendencies concerning the differences and common points of the questioned samples of students.
