When we have the information on

  • the actual sector where the phasor of the stator flux is (1...6),
  • the required evolution of the modulus of the stator flux (RF = 1 / -1) and
  • the required evolution of the developed electromagnetic toque (Rt = 1 / 0 / -1),

a commutation table is synthesised. Based on it, the necessary voltage phasor is determined and consequently, the next topology of the inverter (1 = KA,B,C : ON, 0 = KA,B,C : OFF):
