This chapter presents and illustrates the operation principles of the electric machines. The principles of the electromechanical conversion are illustrated using simple examples (electromagnet, speaker, electric razor).
This chapter treats the operation principles of the rotating field machines (synchronous and asynchronous machines).
This chapter treats the synchronous machine. The proposed virtual laboratories illustrate the operation of the machine connected to the grid.
In this chapter, the operation, construction and control of the asynchronous machine will be presented (manufacturing, general equations, operation when connected to the grid, control - U/f, vector control, DTC).
