Basic components

In this section we will study the behaviour of some ideal dipoles, which are more often encountered in electrical circuits, such as the independent voltage sources, the independent current sources, the resistances, the inductances and the capacitors. For each of them, we will present the characteristical equations, we will indicate the symbol and the mathematical model with which we can describe their behaviour.

Finally, we will present some examples of real models of the studied dipoles, models which express as close as possible the behaviour of the elements contained in the electrical circuits.
