1. Principle

In the full-wave command, we generate the output voltage(s) by commuting the arms' switches at the desired frequency for these voltages.

For every arm, we alternatively maintain Kj ON and then K¢j ON during intervals equal to the half of the period T (= 1/f) corresponding to the desired frequency of the output voltage(s). We thus obtain for the potential Pj an alternating wave with a U/2 amplitude and the periode T (figure 1).
